A Crème Christmas
I wanted to do something extra special to celebrate the holidays with my new family -- my Crème students. I love entertaining for the holidays and I thought...what a better way to kick off the Christmas season than with a festive dinner party?!?
I planned a four course menu consisting of an Appetizer Selection, White Velvet Bisque, Holiday Stuffed Pork, Sweet Potato Gnocchi Gratin, Crispy Potato Puffs, Toasted Hazelnut Green Beans, and Crème Brûlée Cheesecake.
We started off with a charcuterie board. When entertaining, I like to keep it simple on myself and do a mix of homemade and store bought goodies.
While I was whipping up my White Velvet Bisque...my husband, Adrian, shared my decorating tips on a tour of our home. My guests even got to see the super secret room :)
The main dish was the Holiday Stuffed Pork with an amazing filling that includes crumbled Italian sausage and sautéed spinach. It makes for delicious entree for this time of year. I served it with the Toasted Hazelnut Green Beans, Sweet Potato Gnocchi Gratin, and Crispy Potato Puffs. I poured a touch of pan gravy over the pork to savor the rich flavors from cooking.
We finished the meal on a sweet note with my Crème Brûlée Cheesecake. Espresso anyone?
Last but not least -- the brownie giveaway! Many of you don't know this -- but I actually had a brownie business out of my previous home. After being asked about my brownies numerous time, I decided to give away a box to a lucky Crème guest. Congratulations to Brona!
It was a pleasure having you in my home! I hope you can share these recipes with your loved ones for the holidays. Send me pictures if you do...I love seeing your take on my recipes!
Cheers! XOXO Paula
P.S. Stay tuned for pictures of my Christmas home tour!
