A Welcome

Summer is right around the corner.

Despite all the rain, (which I don’t mind for my gardens sake!) summer has already started in the Dreessen home. Kids are out of school and I have finally decided to take some time off from my cooking classes to create some memories in the kitchen with my own family. What will my summer look like? Oh, trust me, you will see...

My summer will include anything from kids, cooking, perhaps a few pool parties, my lady birds hanging in their chicken condo, to the transformation of my garden, lots of time spent in South Dakota at the Crème lake Cottage, and, of course, food.

Always food.

It seems I always have too many ideas to share, especially around this season, but trust me, I will do my best!

I plan to let you see lots of family experiences— which includes life at the Lake Cottage— and give you a peek at how we celebrate (and what we eat!)

Lastly, it seems as good a time as any to say that there has been a new addition to our home. Perhaps Chompers and Francesca have a new sibling?? We shall see...

I can’t wait to show you all what’s in store with my new website, my new blog, and of course my new YouTube channel, where you get to see what really goes on in my kitchen. It’s not just a class— it’s the real deal. Life as it happens.

And I wouldn’t want it any other way.
