Oven Crisped Miso Glazed Wings

Hi friends— hope you are having an amazing start to your week!

We had so much success cooking in the kitchen this weekend, and one of the things I created I wanted to share with you. How would you feel about Oven Crisped Miso Glazed Wings. Marinated with ginger, garlic and a splash of sake (just so there’s enough left over to cheers with!) Sooo tender on the inside after a crisping in the oven. Tossed in a slightly sweet and savory glaze with a hint of spice. Nothing more needed, I promise.

These will become a weekend favorite in your kitchen too. Enjoy!

1 inch. piece Ginger, grated

4 cloves Garlic, grated

2 Fresh red chilis, minced

2 tsp. Fish sauce

2 tbsp. Sake

3-4 lbs. Chicken wings

2 tbsp. White miso paste

2 tbsp. Red miso paste

2 tbsp. cup Mirin

2 tbsp. cup Sake

1 tbsp. Dark brown sugar

1 tsp. Sambal olek

1 tsp. Sriracha

2-3 Scallions, sliced

Combined the ginger, garlic, chilis, fish sauce, and sake and pour over the wings and toss. Let marinate for 30-60 min. Set oven to 275°F. Place wings in for 30 min., then crank up temperature to 450°F for 35-40 min, turning halfway through. In a separate bowl, combine the miso pastes, mirin, sake, sugar, sambal olek, and sriracha. In a large bowl, toss the wings in the sauce to coat evenly. Serve while hot and garnished with the scallions! Enjoy!
