Party Ideas: Sandwich Bar!
Planning on having a party? Feeding a crowd? Then a Sandwich Bar the way to go!
Recently, I decided to have a group of our friends and family together to celebrate the New Year! So many things to be thankful for AND to look forward to for the New Year! I wanted something simple and tasty, but not overly complicated since the holidays have passed, and a lot of cooking and entertaining to go with it! What better than a Sandwich Bar?!?
Gather all the ingredients for your most favorite sandwiches, put out some pretty serving wear, add toppings and condiments and you are on your way! I had some packaging paper on the tables, a nice big sharpie to label ingredients, AND put out some easy sandwich recipes for those looking for an idea or two. A couple of panini presses were set out for anyone who wants a nice warm gooey sandwich too! It was so much fun and will certainly become a yearly New Years celebration! What did you do for the New Year?!? Look below for the recipe that was the most popular that day.
Enjoy!!

Pressed Reuben Sandwiches
Ingredients:
Pumpernickel bread, sliced
Deli sliced corned beef
Baby Swiss cheese slices
Frank’s sauerkraut
Your favorite thousand island dressing
Kerry Gold butter, room temperature
Warm up your panini press as directed or a frying pan over medium heat. Layer all ingredients on your pumpernickel bread, making sure both pieces have thousand island and cheese on the inside. Add your corned beef and kraut, then sandwich the slices together! Lather your butter on each side and press in your panini press or grill on a skillet. Once the cheese is melted and gooey, slice diagonally and enjoy!
