Bacon Cheeseburger Ciabatta
Ingredients:
2 lbs. Ground beef
1/2 Yellow onion, diced
4 slices Thick cut bacon, diced
1 loaf Take-and-Bake ciabatta
~1/2 stick Butter
1 tsp. Seasoned salt
1 tsp. Garlic powder
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire
1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
1/3 cup Ketchup
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
A few slices American cheese
A few slices Cheddar cheese
Tomato, for topping
Shredded lettuce, for topping
Pickles, for topping
Set oven to 375°F. In a large pot over medium heat, crumble in the ground beef in varying-sized pieces. Place in the onion and stir until cooked. In a separate frying pan over medium heat, fry the bacon. Slice your ciabatta loaf in half and carve out a small portion of the inside to create room for the filling. Butter and place on a cookie sheet in the oven for about 8 min., or until golden brown on the edges. Once the beef and bacon are cooked through, drain the grease from each pan. To season the meat, add the seasoned salt, garlic powder, worcestershire, dijon, ketchup, and black pepper. Once the bread is ready, place all of your beef onto the bottom slice. Disperse the bacon over the top. Place slices of cheddar over the top, and generously top with the american cheese. Place on the top slice of ciabatta, and cover with foil. Place in oven for about 10-15 min., or until the cheese is completely melted and gooey. Let rest and cut to desired sizes. Serve with tomato slices, shredded lettuce, and pickles. Enjoy!
