Crispy Pan Fried Walleye Sandwich
Hello, once again, my foodies!
What seems like not too long ago, we had our last evening in South Dakota. The weeks actually flew by— lots of homework, fishing, family time (LOTS of family time) and, of course, cooking! I decided to use a recipe from one of my earlier YouTube videos and gave it a twist! Crispy Pan fried Walleye, but in sandwich form!
Now. Since my kids can’t seem to catch any walleye... (😆) I went into a nearby town and got some fresh “frozen” to use. I also grabbed some homemade french bread to toast with some butter in the oven, fresh tomato, and crispy iceberg to nestle our crispy fillet of fish in. Of course, I also whipped up a quick tartar sauce to go on top of the bun!!
Let me tell you. This sandwich was nothing short of amazing. And it was gone very quickly! So when you make this recipe at home, make a lot. Your family will thank you.
And I also want to say thanks to you for following some of my favorite lake house adventures. Cheers and love!!
xoxo,
Paula

Quick and easy tartar sauce :
2/3 cup Hellman’s mayonaise
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
2 Green onions, sliced
1 tbsp. Sweet pickle relish
