Chocolate Croissant Bread Pudding
Ingredients:
5 eggs
3 egg yolks
2 cups half and half
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1 cup (8 oz) bittersweet chocolate chips
6 croissants largely cubed (1-2 inches)
Directions:
in a large bowl, whisk together the first 7 ingredients.
stir in the chocolate and cubed croissants.
let everything sit in the bowl for 10-15 minutes.
butter a 9x9 baking dish.
pour everything into baking dish.
bake at 375 degrees for 40-50 minutes
(or until edges are golden brown).
